The city customs authorities seized 1.026 kg gold worth Rs47.63 lakh from a passenger who arrived from Dubai at Shashabad International airport today.
They took into custody another person to whom the passenger was trying to handover the baggage. He arrived by flight 6E 025 from Dubai and brought the gold made it into a thin sheet wrapped in polythene packing covers. Further details are awaited.
