2018 IFS topper Naveen Reddy interacts with civil service students


Forest College and Research Institute (FCRI) at Mulugu organized interactive session with the 2018 IFS topper from Nalgonda M Naveen Reddy for the B.Sc. Forestry students here at Dulapally in the city today. The interaction was about UPSC examinations and to motivate the students preparing for civil services.

He shared his experience and clarified a lot of doubts raised by the students regarding the civil services preparation. The students enjoyed getting to know him and asking questions about his experience during the preparation, and the students were motivated for the civil services.

Naveen Reddy is currently appearing for the IAS examination. He guided the students on the presentation of the answers and books to be focussed upon and emphasised that hard work and commitment to the goal always gives the results. Though he studied in Telugu medium up to X th class he got got All India First Rank in IFS exam where English marks are also counted for merit. He informed the students how he could overcame the English and did well. He later guided 30 students in one to one interaction after the session.

He was felicitated by Dean Forest College and Research Institute Dr G Chandrasekhar Reddy.

Later students interacted with Dr Steve Lee from UK, specialized in Tree Breeding and currently Chair of the “National Tree Breeding Strategy”, Britain to motivate the students towards the research programmes in the forestry. He shared his research experience with students and clarified doubts raised by the faculty and students regarding the research.
