A tribute to the Culinary Heritage of Delhi
New Delhi, Nov.22 (Telemedia) : The 2nd Food Festival of India (Delhi edition) started today at Dilli Haat, Janakpuri in full festive galore. This festival is organised by Aspirants event in association with Delhi Tourism and Times City where famous stalls from Purani Dilli and NCR have participated bringing their food specialities on a single platter to the people of Delhi. . This is a 3 day event beginning today Nov.21, and will last up Nov. 23 and will be thrown open to food lovers from 11am to 10 pm on all three days.
Delhi Haat in itself represents the varied culture and festivities of India and gives an opportunity to feel the culinary flavor of all corners of India. Food Festival of India has added another shining leaf to this tradition by attracting a large number of people of all age groups and generating a brand new feel.
The famous food stalls and their delicacies include Sitaram bazar ke choley bhature, Pao bhaji, chaat; Jung Bhadur ki dal kachori,bedmi puri; Anmol Chicken ka lajiz mutton korma, biryani, kebabs n tikkas; Jalebi wala ka special jaleba and many more delicious food items like bhelpuri, veg kathi rolls, litti chokha chatni, kullhad chai-pakore, chole chawal, kulfi-chusky, dosa, Idli and uttapam
