Actors Venkatesh, Amala Flag Off ‘Bharosa’ Awareness Vehicle For Women n Child Safety


Cine actor Daggubati Venkatesh and actress Akkineni Amala have flagged off an awareness vehicle against child sexual abuse and and launched an online signature campaign on violent against women and children organised here at Prasad Labs to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of ‘Bharosa’ centre here today.

The programme was organised by the Hyderabad city police under the supervision of Additional Commissioner of Police Crimes & SIT Shikha Goel. 

Addressing on the occasion, the Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar while congratulating the Bharosa team for successfully completing one year in service of the people, said that the Bharosa centres will rededicate themselves to the cause of women and children. He said the Bharosa has become a brand at the International Level and it has been quoted by an American company in its survey there. 

The Kotwal further said that Hyderabad city has been nominated as the safe and livable city in India and appealed to the people to bring any such crime against women or children to the notice of police or by dialling 100 immediately.

The Commissioner thanked the cine artists for taking part in the event and felicitated them along with the Addl.CP Shikha Goel on the occasion. The Joint CPs, DCPs and other officials of Hyderabad city police were present on the occasion.
