Yet in another incident, a Telangana High Court advocate identified as Durga Prasad had a narrow escape after a lorry hit his car which he was driving enroute to Hanamkonda today.
According to the victim, the lorry chased him before hitting him and dragged his car for about 200 meters before coming to halt. The locals chased the driver while he attempted to escape from the scene of offence.
The incident occurred at Yashawantpur this noon when the victim was on his way to Warangal court to attend a case related to a property dispute.
He said he had been dealing with nearly 100 cases all of which are related to land disputes and feared threat to his life. When questioned, Durga Prasad said the driver informed the locals that the accident occurred due to the brake failure.
