Chairman of Telangana Press Academy Allam Narayana sought the Minister KT Rama Rao to resolve several pending issues pertaining to the Journalists community in the state.
Narayana who is also the president of the journalists Union TUWJ called on the Minister KTR today. He brought to his notice several issues being confronted by the Journalists fraternity including allocation of lands to the Jawaharlal Nehru Cooperative Housing Society at Pet Basheerabad, new house sites to the other journalists, allocating house sites to reporters in rural areas besides grading of small and medium publications etc.
Meanwhile, the Minister also enquired about the activities of the Academy and assured to attend the cheque distribution function to journalists to be organised by the Media Academy and appreciated Narayana and his team for utilising the amounts to help journos economically in times of crisis.
However, he assured him to take all the issues to the notice of CM KCR and resolve them at the earliest. Those who attended the meeting along with Allam Narayana include MLA Kranti Kiran, MLAs Balka Suman, Minister Malla Reddy, and TUWJ leaders Maruthi Sagar, Ismail, Ramana, Yoganand Bhaskar etc.
