Amit Shah tested COVID Positive, joins hospital in Delhi

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been hospitalised after he was tested Covid-19 positive. He himself tweeted to this effect few minutes from now.

According to the tweet, Amit Shah informed that he underwent COVID test after signs of virus surfaced and he was tested positive. However, he said that he is joining the hospital on the advice of the doctors. “I am doing well. I request all those who have come into contact with me to undergo COVID tests as a precaution”, he tweeted.

No sooner he tweeted, reactions are pouring in, wishing him a speedy recovery. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal were among the first to post their wishes on Twitter.

“Heard about the Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah Ji being tested positive for #COVID-19. Wishing him a speedy recovery. My prayers are with him and his family!” she tweeted.
