Andhra, Telangana Chief Ministers begin deliberations on Water Sharing

AP-Telangana Chief Ministers are seen deliberating on the river water sharing at Pragati bhavan today

The proposed meeting between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chief Ministers has commenced as scheduled at 11.30 am on Friday at Pragati Bhavan here today.

The AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy accompanied by AP Ministers Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Anil Kumar Yadav, Balineni Srinivas Reddy, B.Rajendra Nath, Kurasala Kanna Babu, Perni Venkatramaiah (Nani), Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy, AP Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam, CM Secretary Ajay Kallam, Special Chief Secretary for Irrigation Adityanath Das, AP Finance Secretary SS Rawat, Power sector Secretary S.Srikanth, senior officials L.Premchandra Reddy, K.Dhanunjay Reddy, Irrigation ENC M.Venkateswar Rao, Irrigation experts, and Retired Engineers etc. arrived at Pragati Bhavan to participate in the deliberations.

Telangana Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao extended a warm welcome to the AP CM and his cabinet colleagues. Those participated from Telangana side include Ministers Vemula Prashant Reddy, Etela Rajender, S.Niranjan Reddy, Srinivas Goud, TRS floor leader in Parliament K.Kesava Rao, Advisor to Government Rajiv Sharma, Chief Secretary SK Joshi, GENCO and TRANSCO CMD D.Prabhakar Rao, Advisor to government Tankasala Ashok, Principal Secretary S.Narsing Rao, Finance Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, Irrigation department ENC Muralidhar and others.

Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao has taken AP CM Jagan to his chambers and discussed for some time before commencing the official meeting. He introduced the Telangana officials to AP CM Jagan before welcoming latter’s delegation.¬†
