In yet another record, an IPS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre successfully completed her Himalayan expedition reaching a maximum of 6080 meters.
The Superintendent of Cybercrimes of AP CID GR Radhika has achieved this rare feat by climbing the Island Peak in Nepal. However, she could reach up to a maximum height of 6080 out of a total of 6189 meters due to deep crevasses and heavy winds. With the melting of snow below the Sumit ridge, lack of fixed ropes and heavy rockfall, the climbers this season couldn’t make it to the peak of the summit. This is her first Himalayan climb.
Speaking of her achievement, Radhika thanked her family members, colleagues and especially the AP Police and CID for support her in her endeavour.
