Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy appears to be treading the path of PM Narendra Modi by giving a clarion call to the people of his state to respond by clappings at 7 pm today as a token of appreciation to the Gram Volunteers whom his government had employed a year ago.

The call is similar to that of the call given by the PM Modi during lockdown as an appreciation to the contribution to covid19 by the Corona warriors across the country. The call evoked a widespread response as it has no political connotations and intended to encourages the people involved in the covid management.

However, given the prevailing political scenario in AP stemmed from the political divide over the Amaravathi, 3 capital issue and many others, it is to be seen how the people of Andhra Pradesh would respond to his call.
