AP govt takes back TDP MP’s 253 acres land in Chittoor

Andhra Pradesh government is meticulously implementing its hidden agenda of ‘Demolish and Decimate TDP’ by targeting its leaders one after the other in a systematic manner. In its continued tirade, the Jagan Mohan Reddy government has targeted this time none other than the Guntur MP Galla Jaydev who owns the Amar Raja Group of Companies.

The state government today shocked the TDP MP by taking back the 253.61 acres of land allocated to his company by the erstwhile Congress government in the united AP. The order to this effect has already been issued.

According to the details available, Amar Raja Infra was allocated 483.27 acres in Kothapalli and Nune Gundlapalli villages in Chittoor district in 2009 by the then Chief Minister Roshaiah in united Andhra Pradesh. The company has promised to pump in over Rs 2100 crore investments to provide employment to over 20,000 youth. However, it was now found that the company could hardly provide employment to 4,310 people besides failed to utilise the entire land allocate to it.

The APIIDC had found that the company could build structures in over 229.66 acres out of 483.27 acres. The rest is going unutilised. Hence, as per the agreement with the government, the allottees, if fail to utilise the land given to them should be returned to the government. As per the rule, the APIIDC had initiated measures to take back the remaining 253.61 acres worth Rs 60 crores.

However, the company authorities maintain stoic silence on the development as its chairman and the MP Galla Jaydev is yet to respond on this issue.
