Telangana State government has decided to convene its assembly sessions beginning September 7.
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting with the some of the cabinet ministers and top officials by the Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao during a review meeting here at Pragati Bhavan today. It was decided initially to hold the session for at least a minimum of 20 days to have effect discussions on the important issues confronting the state.
Chief Minister called upon Ministers and officials to get prepared to face the assembly in view of several key bills, announcements and resolutions need to make during the session. He felt assembly should at least meet for 15 days to facilitate the government for the above.
He instructed the Assembly secretary Narasimha Charyulu and the Minister for Legislative Affairs Vemula Prashant Reddy to make arrangements to this effect strictly adhering to the Covid regulations including the seating arrangements for the members.
