The holy temple of Lord Ayyappa in Sabarimala in Kerala is all set to be reopened beginning June 14.
The day is considered to be the beginning of the auspicious month of Midhunam from 15th of this months as per the Malayalam calendar. The Dewasome Board has also decided to ensure all arrangements in place by June 28 only to allow devotees to have darshan of Lord Ayyappa.
According to the State Endowments Minister Kadakampalli Surendran said that the temple would be thrown open for the devotees to have darshan from morning 4 am to 1 pm and again from 4 pm to till 11 pm in the night. He said all the devotees willing to visit the temple must register themselves on the ‘Covid Precaution Registration Portal’ online by attesting a copy of the ‘No-Virus’ report certified by any ICMR approved Lab. The devotees will be allowed to climb up the hill only after proper screening at the Pamba river. All devotees must strictly follow the Covid regulations like wearing masks, using sanitizers etc without fail, said the Minister.
