BJP State President and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar threatened the CM KCR of severe backlash if he failed to suspend the policemen responsible for the lathi-charge on the BJP activists in Jangaon.

In a statement issued here today, Bandi Sanjay condemned the police indiscriminate lathicharge on the silent protesters at the Jangoan Municipal Commissioner’s office yesterday injuring its Jangoan President Sarma and non-bailable cases were foisted against 20 others for staging a protest.

“This is unconstitutional and illegal. I demand an unconditional apology and withdraw cases foisted against them besides suspending the cops responsible for the lathi charge within 24-hours. Otherwise, will give you tit for tat”, he said and accused the police officers of resorting to atrocities on BJP workers with an intention to please their bosses who are acting on the behest of their political bosses.

Earlier in the day, Bandi Sanjay garlanded the statue of Swamy Vivekananda in the Karimnagar town commemorating his 158th birth anniversary on January 12.
