President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Bandi Sanjay Kumar while welcoming the decision of CM KCR to implement Ayushman Bharat in Telangana, demanded an apology from KCR for causing inconvenience to the people.
Reacting to the decision of Chief Secretary’s confession with the Prime Minister today, Bandi Sanjay said its been 2 years since the TS government has refused to implement Ayushman Bharat scheme in the state by terming it as inferior as a result of which people especially the poor were subjected to severe losses including economic, health and many of them have even lost their lives in the absence of not getting proper treatment under Arogyasri scheme. “KCR has to bear the responsibility for their sufferings and the losses they incurred. This could have been avoided had he implemented the scheme in the state”, said Sanjay demanding an apology from him.
He further pointed out that treatment for Coronavirus was not included in Arogysri whereas Ayushman Bharat has it and demanded that the state government to implement Central schemes introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
