The Board of Intermediate Education has issued notices to few private intermediate colleges including Narayana, Chaitanya, Gayatri and Fitzee colleges for conducting online classes illegally.

According to the details, the notices had to give following the Telangana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (TSCPCR) wrote a letter to the Secretary Omer Jaleel to this effect instructing it to furnish the Action Taken Report (ATR) against these colleges for running online classes illegally.

It’s pathetic that the BIE has not woke up till the Child Rights Commission sent a notice to it which in turn had issued notices to these colleges. The incident has exposed the state of affairs in the department. A parent commented that “BIE knows pretty well all these but they chose to ignore for obvious reasons as they get their share from these colleges”.

Earlier also, the Commission has reacted suo motto on the private colleges fleecing parents on the same issue and issued notice to the education department. However, it is not known what developments took place after that as no information available on the issue as of now.
