Remember the junior judge Ramakrishna who became the victim of retired Supreme Court Judge Nagarjuna Reddy, has now demanded a CBI probe against yet another retired judge Eswaraiah for what he alleged manipulating his inquiry report in connection with the sensational murder of Moddu Seenu, the prime accused in the murder of TDP MLA Paritala Ravi in Ananthapur District of Andhra Pradesh.
It may be recalled that 38-year-old prime accused in the murder case of TDP MLA Paritala Ravi Julakanti Srinivas Reddy alias Moddu Seen was killed by his fellow inmate Om Prakash in Ananthapur Jail on November 10, 2008. According to the then district SP M K Singh, around 4.40 a.m Mallela Om Prakash (32), an under-trial, picked up a cement dumbbell and smashed Seenu’s head. Seenu, who was asleep, died instantly. Prakash even gnawed Seenu’s right ear during a tussle between the two.
Speaking to MaaHyderabad, Judge Ramakrishna explained that Justice Eshwariah had played a controversial role in the Moddu Sreenu case and ensured that his inquiry report was vanished only to ensure real culprits escaped in the case.
“I have recently come across the controversial audio recording of Justice Eshwaraiah with another judge worked in Ananthapuram district in the past. After intently listening to their conversation, I now realised how Om Prakash was framed in the murder of Moddu Sreenu. In fact, I was the Judicial Magistrate who conducted the inquiry into the custodial death of Moddu Sreenu in Ananthapuram jail. His dead body was found lying outside his cell which was dragged into his cell. There were bloodstains and dragging marks on the floor outside the cell based on which I prepared a report and submitted”, he said adding that now I realised after listening to Eshwaraiah’s conversation as to how my report got vanished and Om Prakash was framed in it as he was his cellmate.
He further alleged that Justice Eshwaraiah came to Ananthapur on the pretext of participating in a private programme and spent full day conversing with a BC Judge in Ananthapur. “But after hearing all this, I now realise whatever Justice Eshwaraiah spoke to him was not a holy conversation and was intended to manipulate the case”, said Ramakrishna.
The accused Om Prakash who died of Coronavirus recently was produced before him whom I remanded him to judicial custody. “I recollect now that Om Prakash while being taken away from court hall was shouting loudly that he was innocent and was being framed in the case”, said Ramakrishna adding that “Hence, I demand CBI probe into the Moddu Sreenu murder case so that facts will come out. I will also wage a legal battle on this”, he declared.
