CBI takes up hearing in YS Jagan case following SC orders

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) special courts dealing with the cases related to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has taken up the hearing today following the instructions from the Supreme Court to speed up the enquiry process in charges against political leaders across the country.

However, it has postponed the hearing to October 12 as the counsel for the Jaganmohan Reddy sought to enquire with the accused through a video conference. The stay orders have been in vogue on at least 4 cases of having wealth disproportionate to his known source of income against the CM Jagan pending with the CBI.
