The Shamshabad Forest officials today clarified that an animal roaming in the Shamshabad airport surroundings is proved to be a Wild Cat but not Cheetah.
Dispelling the rumours, the Divisional Forest Range Officer Shivaiah said that the images of wild cat has been recorded in the CCTV cameras installed for the purpose during last few days following the rumours about the straying of a Cheetah in the area.
“The animal was clearly spotted in the CCTV cameras and there is no trace of Cheeta”, he declared urging the people not to believe in rumours and stay confident.
