Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has turned out to be an invisible enemy for Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in the ongoing general elections. The ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supremo today declared him as his main opposition.
Speaking at an election campaign in a rally this morning in Palamaneru in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu announced that his fight is against KCR and not YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He also alleged that the Telangana CM had insulted Andhra people after looting their hard earned money.
Babu had launched a tirade against the Telangana Chief Minister more than his arch political rival and main opposition leader in Andhra YSRCP Party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy. Perhaps, he might be getting nightmares due to
CM KCR’s statement who sometime back had openly declared that he would meddle in AP politics. But till date, there was no trace of direct involvement either by KCR, his son KTR or any of his ministerial colleagues in AP politics due to their preoccupation with the ongoing election campaign for Parliament in Telangana.
But Babu continued to whip up regional passions to garner anti-Telangana and anti-YSRCP votes in AP as part of his political strategy to maintain the public mood ever since KCR and KTR talked about ‘Return Gift to Babu’. Political analysts perceive the move as his strategy to gain upper hand over Jagan Mohan Reddy by enhancing opposition among the people.
