The reports of Chinese army personnel used the nail-studded iron rods to attack the Indian soldiers surfaced today with the recovery of them by the Indian soldiers.

According to the sources in the External Affairs Ministry, the Indian Army captured some of the nail-studded-iron rods the next morning after the clashes between Indian and China soldiers in the Galwan valley. “It only shows the attack was a premeditative one”, said the source. India had lost at least 23 of its brave soldiers during the physical attacks by the Chinese army on Monday night.

The sources said this barbaric attack was taken to the notice of the Chinese Foreign Minister by the Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar who blamed his counterpart for the incident. However, the Taiwan media revealed that China too had lost at least 42 of its men in the Galwan valley clash.

Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said to have given the military free-arm to handle the situation on the borders with China after his briefing with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As a result, heavy reinforcement of its troops on the entire stretch of Line of Actual Control (LAC) on the Indo-China border right from Galwan in Ladakh to Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and up to Arunachal Pradesh.
