City pubs under scanner as 2 drug smugglers from Goa caught

The Hyderabad police caught hold of two persons and seized about 200 grams of MDMA drug from his possession.


According to the details, the duo identified as Ahmed and Salman were taken into custody by the North zone police while they were transporting the banned drug into the city from Goa only to be supplied to the customers at pubs. He is said to be working as the manager in a pub in the city.

Salman has been identified as the key supplier of drugs to at least 10 pubs especially keeping in view the forthcoming new year eve. He is also said to be bringing girls from northeastern states.

Police are investigating. It is also expected that based on the information given by the culprits, the city cops are said to be gearing up to close in on the pub by having an eagle eye on their activities.
