Telangana Congress party has planned to stage a protest against the AP Govt’s GO 203 at the SLBC tunnel on June 2nd commemorating the State Formation Day.
Announcing this here at a media meet in Gandhi Bhavan today, TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy came down heavily on what he called the callous attitude of the Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao towards the Pothireddypadu issue. He alleged that KCR is compromising with AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy at the cost of farmers in southern Telangana and claimed that he is behaving like a monarch in Telangana that was brought by the Congress party.
“We have convinced Sonia Gandhi to give separate Telangana by explaining her the injustice caused to Telangana due to Pothireddypadu project. And KCR is today compromising at the interests of the farmers”, he said alleging that KCR-Jagan friendship would prove costly for the Telangana agriculture.
Uttam Kumar Reddy further alleged that no state government has called for any new projects during lockdown period except for Telangana wherein KCR had even called for fresh tenders for the sake of Commissions. He alleged that KCR and his family are getting 8% commission in Kaleshwaram and Dummugudem tenders. “All these illegal transactions are being managed by the ENC Muralidhar Rao who has been getting extensions every year even after his retirement long ago”, Uttam said.
Congress MPs Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Revanth Reddy who also spoke on the occasion declared that they would meet the President and the Prime Minister soon to expose the nexus between the YS Jagan and the KCR in the Pothireddypadu issue.
