Congress questions KCR’s luncheon program with 2000 people on May 29

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) spokesperson Niranjan took serious objections at the proposed KCR’s luncheon programme with over 2000 people at Kondapochamma Sagar reservoir commemorating its inauguration on May 29.

The Congress leader alleged KCR had instructed the Markook Sarpanch Bhaskar yesterday over the phone to arrange a luncheon party on May 29 after the inauguration programme of the Kondapochamma Sagar reservoir for at least 2000 people. “This exposes the dual standards of KCR as, on one hand, he restricts people to gather only up to 50 persons for marriage and 20 persons for the funeral while he plans a luncheon with 2000. Is it not a dual policy”, he questioned.

It is surprising as to how CM ignores the recent directions of the High Court which issued notice to TRS MLA Bhupal Reddy for celebrating his birthday violating the restrictions, Niranjan said.
