Cops help their deceased colleague’s family financially

Cyberabad CP Sajjanar is seen handing over cash to the wife and daughter of an ASI died last month as his colleague look on.

The Cyberabad cops have come to the rescue of the family of one of their deceased colleague in times of crisis by extending financial assistance.


According to the details, Surendar, a 1990 batch Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, working with the Cyberabad Control Room died of ill health last month following which his family landed in a financial crisis. Coming to know about their situation, his batchmates came forward and mobalised a cash of Rs 2,07,005 through contributions and handed over the same to the wife and daughter of late Surendar.

The Cyberabad Commissioner of Police VC Sajjanar while handing over the cash assured the family of all help and support from the department side in this regard. The 1990 batchmates including Pulikanti Srinivas Rao, Govardhan, Veeresh, Mallesh, Dada Saheb, Mallesham, Sampath, Kishan and others were present on the occasion.
