The Covid-19 has claimed yet another life of politician with TPCC Vice President and 6-time MP Nandi Yellaiah has breathed his last in NIM hospital few minutes from now.
He was admitted to the NIMS hospital on July 29 after he was tested positive for Coronavirus. He is 78 and survived by wife, 2 daughters and 2 sons.
He is a Lok Sabha Member for 6-terms. He was elected to 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th Lok sabha from Siddipet, a reserved SC parliamentary constituency. He was elected to the 16th Lok Sabha from Nagar Kurnool defeating Manda Jagannatham. He also represented Rajya Sabha until 2014.
Congress leaders Uttam Kumar Reddy, RC Kuntia, Bhatti Vikramarka, Ponnam Prabhakar, Sampath Kumar, DK Samarasimha Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy expressed their shock at the demise of Nandi Yellaiah. TPCC Chief Uttam said Congress party has lost a veteran leader who followed the path of Gandhi till his last breath.
Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed his condolences on the demise of former Nagarkurnool MP Nandi Yellaiah. He conveyed his condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
