The Telangana High Court on Monday ruled out the necessity of a CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) probe into the lawyer couple murder case in Manthani recently.
Ruling to this effect after going through the report submitted by the Telangana police on the status of the investigation into the case, the Chief Justice said ‘This court has also had the same pain what Vaman Rao’s father is undergoing currently. But there is no such requirement of a probe by CBI as the investigation in the case is going in the right direction”, she felt.
The CJ further opined if the case is given to CBI at this juncture, it would be nothing but a waste of time.
Meanwhile, the Advocate General informed the court about seizure of swords and daggers used in the murder and efforts are on to recover the mobiles phones used by the accused in the crime.
