The Coronavirus positive cases continued to climb up in Telangana with the figure reaching 289 this evening after 62 fresh cases reported by 10 pm while the COVID Tracker app of the Government of India exhibits the total figure as the 296.
According to the health bulletin issued late in the night today, over 32 people have been discharges and 11 deaths reported till date. However, no fresh deaths reported today. On the whole, over 289 patients said to be undergoing treatment. Most of the cases have originated from Hyderabad city alone 36 cases reporting.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to light a Diya (earthen lamp) in support of the ongoing fight against Coronavirus crisis received a tremendous response from people across the country. They put off lights to light Diyas, candles and flash mobile lights to show solidarity with all those who are at the forefront of the ‘war’ against the deadly infection which has killed thousands and affected lakhs across the world.
Total COVID-19 cases in India have climbed to 4,218, according to the COVID-19 Tracker app. The death toll has jumped to 83 while 267 people have recovered and discharged. There has been a spike of 505 positive cases in the last 24 hours, the union health ministry said in a statement.
