Minister for Road and Buildings Vemula Prashant Reddy expressed confidence that the Dharani portal would overcome the technical hurdles in a week’s time in order to render non-corrupt and flawless services as envisaged by the Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao.
The Minister who chaired the Cabinet Sub-Committee which met here today to hammer out the hurdles which Dharani has been facing to complete the registration process of non-agricultural lands in the state. It may be recalled the CM KCR has formed the sub-committee to handle the issue and over come the problem.
The Minister further said the Cabinet Sub-Committee has decided to form 3 officials committees for handling Legal issues, Technical issues and Supervisory Committees at field level and call them for a meeting on December 17 at Dr MCR HRD Institute to create awareness among the people. He said registrations are going on normally and may accelerate in a week’s time.
The meeting was attended by the other Committee Members including Ministers KT Rama Rao, Yerrebelli Dayakar Rao, Mohd Mahmood Ali, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and other officials.
Meanwhile, several demonstrations were witnessed by public and the document writers who lost their livelihood due to digitalisation in Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar and other places. The protestors demanded renewal of old system by suspending the Dharani Portal.
