ED recovers 3 Cr cash from the son-in-law of Ex Home Minister

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has made more startling revelations in connection with the in-famous ESI scheme.


The ED has finally come to a conclusion that the prime accused Devika Rani, the former Director of ESI, along with her subordinate Mukund Reddy in connivance with the TRS leader Srinivas Reddy who is none other than the son-in-law of the former Home Minister late Naini Narasimha Reddy besides a pharmaceutical agent Sri Hari Babu.

It is reported ED has recovered Rs 3 Crore in cash, Gold ornaments worth One crore besides few land documents worth hundreds of crores. A hard disk, empty cheques, pen drives, bank locker keys etc. have also been recovered during raids on his house and on his relatives, friends and close associates. It is also said that Naini Narasimha Reddy’s former personal secretary Mukund Reddy, his relative Vinay Reddy was also involved in the case.

The ED has registered cases against all of them after establishing that money has been diverted through hawala etc. Mukund Reddy currently working as a Personal Secretary to the R&B Minister Prashanth Reddy. The sources said the ED has prepared a chart of investments the accused have made in huge sums in real estate ventures in both Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka states. All arrangements are being made to affect their arrests very soon.
