Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao instructed the medical and health officials to increase the Corona tests, as there is a surge in the Corona cases and wanted all the front-line workers to be vaccinated cent per cent in a week’s time.
Conducting a review meeting after participating in a video conference with Prime Minister Narendra Modi today on the covid-19 status in the state, CM KCR urged people to follow Covid guidelines strictly, wear masks, take all precautions, and be alert to contain the spread of new Covid virus.
The CM also suggested that in crowded places like Hyderabad, Rangareddy, and Medchel districts people in Corporations and Municipalities should be more alert.
The CM also instructed to vaccinate all the staff and employees in key government departments dealing with the people cent per cent on priority basis and report to the CMO every day by the department heads concerned.
The CM said Collectors and other district level officers should also hold a videoconference and launch a special drive for the vaccinations. The CM said to increase the testing, in all the districts RTPCR tests should be conducted in large numbers in the districts. The CM instructed the officials to get the RTPCR test kits made available widely and set up test centres in Gadwal, Wanaparthy, Khammam, Nirmal, Mancherial, Kamareddy, Sangareddy, Medak, Jagtial, Pedapalli, Ramagundam, Bhongir, Jangaon, and Vikarabad.
The CM said that for the Corona curtailment, the wearing of masks should be implemented strictly. If the people do not wear masks they should be fined Rs 1000 per person. He wanted the DGP to instruct the police department to enforce this mask rule stringently. The CM urged all those who crossed the age limit of 45 years to get vaccinated.
