In yet another ghastly murder in the state, an husband of a former President of Peddemul Mandal Praja Parishad (MPP) in Vikarabad district, Veerappa was killed by his political rivals in the village today.
According to the initial reports, the incident occurred in Hanmapur after the culprits encircled him and stoned him to death.
Police reached the spot and launched a manhunt for the culprits. Political rivalry is said to be the reason behind the murder.
