In a statement issued today, the Adilabad circle Chief Conservator of Forest Vinod Kumar clarified that a video which is in circulation on social media to this effect showing a tiger movement is a fake one. “Upon inquiry, we came to know that the video was an old one released last month in Anjanwadi forest range of Yavatmal district. Some youth in Bejjur shared it as a fresh video through Whatsapp. Even some media networks have published or broadcast it mistaking it as a fresh one resulting in the panic among the local people”, he said.

He further clarified that no such thing in the area has come to our notice as we are on high alert and a massive search operation is going on for the animal. He requested the Public not to get panic about the Tiger movement.
