Telangana State government is all set to lay the foundation stone for the construction of Telangana Sahithee Bhavan (Literary Complex) which is to be named after the popular Telangana literary personality and Gnyaanpet awardee late Dr C Narayan Reddy.
This was announced here on Monday by the Minister for Art, Culture and Sports Srinivas Goud during his visit to the land allocated for the purpose in Banjara Hills. He announced that the decision was taken by the Chief Minister in this connection and allotted 3050 yards in the prime Banjara Hills area which will be named after the late legendary poet Cinare. He also announced that the foundation stone for its construction would be laid on his birth anniversary on July 29.
He further informed that the CM had instructed to build a world-class literary complex with all amenities. Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender and Director Dept of Culture Mamidi Hari Krishna have also accompanied the Minister.
