The Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao will launch the Dharani portal on the 25th of this month, announced the Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar today.
Informing to this effect during a video conference with district collectors, additional collectors, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars here today, the CS gave them an online presentation of the functioning of the Dharani portal. He said that the Dharani is a most innovative, state of the art transparent, accountable, safe and secure hassle-free, discretion less portal which is revolutionary and would be a trendsetter for the entire country.
Made as per the vision of the Chief Minister, the system would ensure absolute transparency wherein Tehsildars of all the 570 mandals would function as Joint sub registrars, while the Sub Registrar Officers would do registrations of non-agriculture properties from 142 locations.
CS also asked the Collectors to ensure hundred per cent readiness in terms of staff and infrastructure for Dharani portal while stressing the need for Tehsildars to undertake at least ten transactions by tomorrow. He also instructed the Collectors to ensure that hardware facilities for Dharani are fully functional. Regular coordination meetings with Discom, broadband service providers and TSTS representatives should be conducted to ensure that there is no interruption to Dharani service. The Tehsildars should rise to the occasion and be ready to implement the Dharani portal, he added.
