Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) declared on Thursday that the application seeking permission to the new house of AP Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu in Road No. 65 in Jubilee Hills was summerily rejected.
The authorities while denying allegations of the AP CM that his application was not being considered due to malafied intentions, said that the said construction was not being carried out in accordance with the rules laid down by the GHMC. There are several violations in the plan, they said and added that the application was signed jointly by Chandra Babu and Lokesh and submitted on May 17. But the GHMC has already rejected it on June 17 itself.
This has nothing to do with the non payment of building tax of the AP Secretariat building by AP government as was alleged by the CM himself, the source said.
