Good Samaritan helps Andhra man reunite with his family after 3 years

Bhupalpalli Sub-Registrar Taslima is seen inquiring about the old man stranded in rain

In what can be called as a humanitarian gesture, a Sub-Registrar of Bhupalpalli in Mulugu district of Telangana has ensured that an aged person who lost himself in this concrete jungle for 3 years reaches his right destination.

According to the details available, the good samaritan, Tasleema was on duty to monitor the flood situation in Bhupalpalli yesterday where she found an old man on the roadside probably the victim of fate in a pathetic condition fully shivering and drenched in rain. She stopped by and inquired about the old man. He could hardly say that he belongs to Chinavelli village in Nedamarri mandal of West Godavari district. She immediately shifted him to the Mulugu police station where he was given shelter. She later contacted the local police in West Godavari district through Mulugu police who traced out his family members.

They told the police that they were under the impression that might have died as it is been more than 3 years since he left home. Astonished at his return, the family members led by his son reached the Mulugu police station on Monday only to receive his lost father. They thanked the Telangana cops especially the Sub-Registrar Tasleema Mohammed for her efforts in reuniting them.
