Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan has taken the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
She was given the Covishield vaccine at Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital for Women and Children on Friday at Puducherry, where she is holding an additional charge as the Lt Governor.
After inaugurating the exclusive Covid-19 vaccination centre for women at Puducherry, and after the Lt. Governor got vaccinated, she said that she was feeling proud to take the vaccine produced in our country.
The Governor urged the people to get vaccinated without any hesitancy towards the vaccine. The Governor’s husband and eminent Nephrologist Dr P Soundararajan, advisors to the Lt. Governor and other senior officials were present.
