HC admits Kotireddy’s letter, issues notice to Tulip Grand Hotel

The Telangana High Court on Thursday issued notices to the Tulip Grand Hotel Management in Gachibowli and the Telangana Municipal Administration and HMDA for what it called illegal construction.

The High Court issued orders to this effect after admitting a letter written by the Congress MP from Bhuvanagiri Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy as a Public Interest Litigation Petition (PIL), in which he alleged that the illegal constructions are going on unhindered under the HMDA jurisdiction citing the case of Tulip Grand hotel at Turka Yanjal for which the court asked both the parties to submit their counter within 4 weeks from today.

He also alleged that the local MLA inaugurating the hotel giving a sanctity to the illegal activity.
