The Telangana High Court on Saturday ruled that no examination shall be conducted to the SSC students in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts due to high number of Covid cases being reported.
The judgement came following a day-long argument on the conduct of SSC exams for which the schedule has been announced from June 8 to July 15 throughout the state. The court hearing on the writ petition objecting to the holding of exams at a time when the number of covid cases is on the rise. Considering the plea court asked the Public Prosecutor whether they can conduct the examinations in the districts while postponing the same in Hyderabad and RR Districts. The PP to which said it may not be possible as the question papers need to be prepared again separately.
However, the court has finally ruled that no examination shall conduct for SSC students in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and RR Districts till the number of covid cases comes down.
