HC Rejects Nagam’s Petition, Refuses To Infringe On The Rights Of Govt.

Hyderabad, Feb.16 (Telemedia) : The Public Interest Litigation petition filed the BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy against the state government’s decision to shift the government Chest Hospital in Erragadda to Ananthagiri in Viakarabad has been summerly rejected by the High Court on Monday on the grounds that it cannot infringe on the rights of the government on its policy matters. The Judge who reserved his judgement on the admissability of the petition for today pointed out that government reserves the right to take the decisions as per its policy and courts can not interefer in them. However, Nagam said that he would approach the Supreme Court on this issue.
