Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by lightning are very likely to occur at many places across Telangana due to a cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal near Odisha, according to weather bulletin here today.
A cyclonic circulation between 4.5 & 5.8 km above means sea level lies over Northwest & adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off Odisha in north Andhra Pradesh coasts. Under the influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over Northwest Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood by tomorrow. The eastwest shear zone roughly along Latitude 18°N between 5.8 & 7.6 km above mean sea level has become disorganized.
As a result of this, heavy to very heavy rain likely to occur at isolated places in next 5 days in Adilabad, Nirmal, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mahabubabad, Mancherial, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Karimnagar, Rajanna Sircilla, PPL, Jayshankar Bhupalpalli, Warangal, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda etc.
