The first female Cricket Commentator of India Chandra Nayudu breathes her last while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Indore on Sunday due to old age-related ailments. She is 88.
Chandra Nayudu is the 6th daughter of the famous cricketer CK Nayudu. She was an English professor and lent her voice first at the Mumbai-MCC National Tournament in Indore in 1977 and also for the India-England Silver Jubilee Test match held in Lords in 1982.
She also penned a book on her father titled ‘CK Nayudu – A Daughter Remembers’.
