The Andhra Pradesh government on Wednesday suspended an RTC employee responsible for the printing of non-Hindu campaign content on the back of APSRTC tickets and issued an order banning employment of non-Hindus in the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD).

According to the details available, the order stated that non-Hindus are not allowed to be employed in TTD. The new order says those who have converted to Hinduism will stay in the job and others will be sacked. Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary LV Subrahmanyam declared that surprise checks will be conducted at the homes of employees to verify if they are Hindus or non-Hindus.
