Jaganmohan launches National Handball Competition in Kanpur


Vice President of National Handball Association Arisenapally Jaganmohan Rao has formally launched its national competitions in Kanpur today.

Speaking on the occasion, Jaganmohan Rao informed that over 34 teams representing various states including 6 teams from Telangana are participating. Over 150 best players drawn from this competition will be sent to the Handball Premier League to be auctioned in the Sports Bidding on February 23rd.

The teams selected from the bidding will play the League matches slated to be held in Jaipur beginning March 5th. The premier league will be live telecast on the Sony Sports Television channel daily from 7 pm.

Jaganmohan Rao who is also the president of the Telangana Handball Association further informed that Telangana Tigers team among 6 others from Telangana are participating in the current national competitions only to be entered in the Premier League matches. He expressed the confidence that they would emerge victorious in the game.
