Judiciary to observe lockdown till June 6


The High Court on Friday issued orders extending the COVID Lockdown up to June 6 as the lockdown set by the state government to end tomorrow on May 30.

The orders to this effect have been sent to all the district courts and tribunals in which it is said that cases of emergency in nature will be heard through video conferencing. However, the orders allowed the submission of petitions both online and offline in all district courts except in courts under Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad jurisdiction.

The court in its orders also specified the usage of face masks and sanitization etc as mandatory during the lockdown period.
