Consequent to the propaganda being launched in social media about his intention to leave TRS party, the former Minister and TRS leader from Warangal Kadiyam Srihari issued notices demanding apology to Deccan Chronicle, HMTV and Maha News for what he termed defaming him by spreading false news of his likely joining Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state.

In a letter addressed to the 3 media houses, Kadiam Srihari condemned the news item published and telecast on their networks propagating that he would leave TRS Party to join BJP as he was completely sidelined by the party chief KCR. Rebutting the allegations, Kadiam charged that being a Dalit he had come up to this level with a great effort and witnessed many ups and downs in the process. He also said that at a time when the entire nation is looking at KCR’s leadership, he too aspires to continue supporting KCR.

“I never had thought of leaving TRS, leave aside joining BJP”, he stated and demanded an apology to be published in their columns within 15 days of his notice otherwise he would file a defamation case against them, he concluded.
