Kapilavai Dileep rejoins BJP, withdraws nomination in support of Ramachandra Rao

The Telangana Lokdal Party President and former MLC Kapilavai Dileep Kumar has withdrawn his candidature for the Hyderabad-RR-Mahabubnagar graduate constituency as he rejoined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today.


Welcoming into the party fold, the BJP state party president Bandi Sanjay Kumar said he feels proud that a person of Dileep Kumar stature is joining back the party under his aegis and thanked him for deciding to withdraw his nomination in support of MLC candidate Ramachandra Rao from the Hyderabad-RR-Mahabubnagar constituency. He held Dileep Kumar in high esteem and expressed the confidence that his party would benefit from Dileep Kumar’s leadership and termed him as one of the intellectuals in Telangana.

Speaking on the occasion, Kapilavai Dileep Kumar said that he was convinced to rejoin the BJP by the party leader Chandrasekhar who tried to unite the opposition leaders to teach KCR a fitting reply in the MLC elections to come. He also accused the KCR of bringing a cast divide by fielding PV’s daughter opposite BJP candidate Ramchander Rao.
