T-Sports Chairman and the vice president of National Handball Association Arisenapalli Jagan Mohan Rao assured the international weight lifting champion Karanam Malleswari of all possible help to enable her to establish Weightlifting Academy in Hyderabad.
He made this assurance during a webinar conducted by the T-Sports with the members of the Telangana Weightling Association here today. Jaganmohan Rao expressed concern over the poor results in the weightlifting category despite having several enthusiastic sportsmen in this area due to lack of proper training academies. Reacting to this, Malleeswari volunteered to train the youth in Telangana provided the government supports her in this endeavour.
Chairman of the Sports Academy of Telangana Venkateswar Reddy invited her to Hyderabad so that she can have interaction with the Sports Minister Srinivas Goud to take the matter forward and if need be “We can also meet the CM KCR for approval”, he said.
President of Telangana Weightlifting Association Sailu who took part in the programme introduced Malleeswari to the guests.
