KCR to unfurl National Flag in Hyderabad and 32 others in districts

Consequent to the Telangana Cabinet deciding to celebrate the Independence Day Celebrations on August 15, 2020, amidst COVID pandemic, at the State Head Quarters and also at all the remaining 32 Districts in a low profile strictly adhering to the Covid19 regulation, the government today issued a GO to this effect specifying the names of those to unfurl the national flag in each district.

According to the GO Ms No.1173, the State level function will be conducted at Hyderabad which will be attended by the Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao. He will unfurl the National Flag at Hyderabad at 10:30 am. Detailed Minute to Minute Programme will also be issued separately for the same, the order said while issuing the List of Ministers and Dignitaries who will be the chief guest at the event in each district.

Local MLAs, Mayors, ZP Chairpersons, Chairperson DCCB and DCMS, Municipal Chairpersons and district level officers in the District Headquarters will participate at the Collectorates. The other important dignitaries like MLAs, Mayors, ZP Chairpersons, Chairperson DCCB and DCMS, Municipal Chairpersons and Heads of Offices were also asked to unfurl the National Flag in their respective Offices at 9.30 AM. Similarly, MPPs are requested to unfurl the National Flag in MPP Office and Sarpanches shall do the same in Gram Panchayat Offices. 

Here is the list of Ministers, Dignitaries noted against each District will unfurl the National Flag at District Collectorates, at 10:00 am amidst playing and singing of National Anthem and receive Guard of Honour.
